Kingston Coast – Stage Update February 2019

Kingston Coast Stage 1
Works are progressing for the sewer pump station with an anticipated completion in the third quarter 2019. Bulk earth works for the Stage 1 subdivision and drainage basin are forecasted to commence May/June 2019, following Authority review of the Detailed Design, and after the earthworks for the pump station are complete. Weather permitting, we are now anticipating Title for Stage 1 in the fourth quarter of 2019.

Subdivision works are forecasted to commence third quarter-2019.

Stage 34
Title received December 2018.

Titles have been received in January 2019.

Works are underway for the internal subdivision with stormwater, sewer, water & gas now complete. Concrete kerbs are complete with Electrical installation and road pavement underway shortly. We anticipate Title in the second quarter of 2019. Design documents for the Grubb Road / Coastal Boulevard intersection were submitted for Authority approval in December 2018 and we hope approval will be received to enable commencement of the intersection in April. We anticipate the intersection being complete and operational prior to the December 2019 opening of the Kingston Village Shopping Centre.

Kingston Village Shopping Centre
Lascorp Development Group (Aust) Pty Ltd are proud to announce that construction of its new state of the art shopping centre, to be known as Kingston Village and located on Grubb Road, Ocean Grove has commenced.

Preliminary construction works have commenced and all roads and infrastructure internally for the subdivision will be completed early 2019 to permit the development to proceed.

Roadworks along Grubb Rd for the new intersections are expected to commence early in the second quarter of 2019 and will be completed prior to the opening of the Centre.

Major tenants of the Centre include Woolworths, Aldi, Dan Murphy’s, Jetts 24hr fitness, Direct Chemist Outlet, Medical Centre, McDonalds and Caltex Fuel. In addition, there will be 25 specialty stores and office spaces, with over 550 car parking spaces.

The development has been designed with families in mind, it will include a large outdoor plaza, with family entertainment, outdoor seating and a large screen.
